A pricebook is a list of products and their associated prices that is used in ecommerce to manage pricing and inventory.
It allows merchants to track and update prices for different products, as well as monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed.
Pricebook in commerce cloud:
In Salesforce Commerce Cloud, a price book is a collection of products and their prices that can be assigned to a particular store or channel.
It allows merchants to set different prices for the same products in different channels, and also to control which products are available for purchase in each channel.
A merchant can create multiple price books and assign them to different stores or channels, and also can set up different prices for different customer groups.
This enables merchants to offer different prices for different types of customers such as wholesalers, retailers and so on.
Additionally, the price book feature in Salesforce Commerce Cloud allows merchants to manage prices and products effectively, by giving them the ability to control pricing and inventory levels in real-time.
